Aldon

Aldon is a popular Japanese-style tonkatsu restaurant located near Cheonggyecheon in Seoul, serving deliciously tender and high-quality pork cutlets in a warm, wooden interior. Known for its signature tenderloin and sirloin cutlets that aren't overly greasy, the restaurant also offers unique variations like Mannam Katsu and seasonal specialties such as cold buckwheat noodles in summer. Though it's tucked away in a basement location with limited seating, the excellent food makes it worth the wait during busy hours.

The best pork cutlet restaurant in Cheonggyecheon. Each menu has a lot of portions, so I recommend ordering several dishes and eating nona. If you don't want to wait, you have to go around 11:00.

It is a pork cutlet restaurant with good value for money. I ordered the most basic menu, assorted pork cutlet and udon. Normally, I don't have a favorite food, but pork cutlet is so greasy that I can't eat it all. As expected, I felt bad after eating half of it here too. There are only a handful of places where I've eaten all of the pork cutlet, but this place seems to be just like other places with pork cutlet. The Google rating seems to be a bit good, so I wonder if it was just me, but it was like that anyway. It tastes good, but it's not the taste you remember after eating it.

A pretty good restaurant in Jung-gu that I recommend to tonkatsu lovers! New face Aldon. The store is in the basement, but it's not hard to find. The entrance is clearly visible. The interior of the store has a warm wood tone. There are also Aldon goods, so it was fun to look around. The special sirloin cutlet has a taste that goes well with the fat, and the tenderloin cutlet is soft and good. I also tried the Mannam Katsu, and if you like a variety of flavors, I recommend it, and I also recommend eating only one menu. A single menu is better than mixing various flavors. I also strongly recommend the summer-only cold buckwheat noodles.
