The third branch of Blue Bottle I've been to - this store was inside the hotel building. Not that spacious but comfortable enough to enjoy Hongdae sunset from inside. Love how friendly the staffs were ( I think all Blue Bottle staffs are the best and friendly ). Was having hot latte on my third visit and Iced Mocha on my 4th visit - love the hot latte but iced mocha wasn't as good as my expectation. 😂 One thing is the highlight - THEY HAVE THE BEST AND Hi TECH TOILET FOR SURE 🩵

Very friendly staff, excellent coffee. We stayed in the hotel above for a week and I think we tried everything on the menu and it was all great. Especially recommend the mocha and the iced NOLA :)

Blue Bottle is a touch of home for me since I’m from San Francisco. The original store is just minutes from my home, so their pour-overs were common purchases for me. The hipster haven of Hongdae is the ideal location for Blue Bottle, and the cafe’s cool stepwise platform design in the ultra-hip RYSE Hotel is most conducive to socializing and caffeinating. The odd anomaly though is that they don’t do pour-overs here, just espressos and lattes mostly, but they compensate by offering a dessert menu. My husband and I came here after a long day of sightseeing. We shared the refreshing KRW 7,100 Iced Latte served in a laboratory beaker and indulged in not one but two desserts - the KRW 8,500 Wafflegato, a decadent combination of a chocolate-dipped Belgian waffle and an affogato with coffee and whipped cream, and the simply pleasurable KRW 4,600 scoop of Coffee Ice Cream. We enjoyed our little sojourn amid the fashionable youth of Seoul.
