Please don't get fooled by my ugly pictures. This places has a heart as beautiful as it can be. I arrived in a rush just 30 minutes from their closing time. It took me like 5 seconds to instantly calm down. The vibe inside feels like a pleasant slow motion. I was lovely attended by a gentleman called Kenzo. He kindly explained me that the batch brew was already finished by the day. He also told me that they had a classical Brazil profile as espresso, but invited me to please come again, as they normally serve Ethiopian coffee as well. Definitely I will! I ordered a espresso macchiato, which was perfectly executed. I also indulged myself a tempting piece of chocolate cake. Without being outstanding, it was totally enjoyable, without overwhelming sweetness. It was a generous portion, good to share indeed. I felt really welcomed there, and I hope to be able to come by soon again.

Most friendly and cozy hidden gem waiting to be discovered in the 7th district! We tried coffee, smashed avocado, Turkish eggs, vegan plates and almost every cakes, quite a few. They are all delicious regardless which one you’ll choose. ;) We topped it off a great flat white which was smooth and strong at the same time with double espresso shot! If you really like to enjoy good food and quality specialty single origin coffee, I highly recommend, Cafe Essenz is the best! 🤩
