Charming inside! Retro vibe. Service was fast but chilly — I only stopped by once so it could’ve been a one-off! Iced oat latte was solid. I’d love to sit outside next time at one of the two tiny tables! Super cute.

This review is about sustainability only! 🙂 By 2050, there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. It is up to both consumers and businesses to stop this pollution at the source. Plastics of course rarely actually get recycled, and instead break down into micro plastics that we consume (and get sick from), get burned in incinerators (that we then breathe in), get buried in landfills (that we have to defrost to create), or float off in the ocean (to countries not responsible for our trash). While I appreciate that you were able to give me a reusable mug when I explicitly asked for it, it made me sad to see nearly every other person in the coffee shop drinking out of a throwaway plastic cup. For a café with such lovely ambience, it’s a shame to muck it up with so much trash. I would bet that your customers would further appreciate the charm and aesthetic of this space if it didn’t come with so much plastic trash. Perhaps you can have your baristas explicitly ask customers if they will be staying at the café to enjoy their drink, and then communicate that they will receive a reusable option. Or perhaps you can put up a sign that encourages customers to bring their own mug, or ask for one. Whatever you try, it would be amazing to try something. Thank you for considering, and for such a lovely space. The plastics crisis is monumental, and it will take all of us to fight it.

This is the sweetest little cafe with a nice dark interior. My favorite! My (now) husband and I had a morning date here, and it was in this moment with him that I knew I wanted to get married. The ambiance of this place helped to nurture my feelings of love. I will never forget it. Coffee is La Colombe so nothing special. You go here for the vibes. Plus nice outdoor seating when the weather is good.
