For individuals who seek the highest quality bread, this is the shop for you! It is almost impossible to find Einkorn wheat bread, but Gleba has it. Stone ground and made fresh every day. Delicious, moist, and incredibly nutritious! Thank you…. We are loyal customers. Please do not change anything.

Lovely padaria or bakery on Principe Real serving honest good sandwiches and coffees. The cheese is a milder type but has a strong cheese pull once toasted. The padaria uses butter from Coimbra. Come for a little snack or sarnie if you need a break walking about Barrio Alto.

Upon informing the clerk at Comur - Chiado that we planned to eat our pantaniscas for lunch and asking her where to buy crackers, she recommended the sour dough bread at Gleba and included everything we would need to make a sandwich. She was kind enough to give us directions and we took her up on her suggestion. We bought sangria along the way at Ola Sangria, got a loaf of bread and prepared a delicious lunch at their outdoor seating area. Wonderful place, friendly service and would definitely go back! Highly recommend.
