Tried the specialty pour-over featuring their Genji Challa Ethiopian beans. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark—perhaps due to the light roast profile or brewing technique. That said, pour-overs can be tricky, and I’ve had my share of missteps at home. On the bright side, the café offers complimentary water, which is a thoughtful touch. The ambiance is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. While this particular brew wasn’t to my taste, I’d be open to exploring other offerings on their menu.

This location is much bigger than their other location in the neighborhood, but seating is still fairly limited (so I wouldn’t recommend trying to set up shop to work here). The barista was kind, my iced latte came out quickly. (Weird note- the iced latte was served in a paper cup similar to what hot coffee would be served in. I could see this getting soggy if you let it sit for too long.) The pastries look amazing! I definitely will be back to try them at some point.

I only tried the chocolate croissant here, but it was pretty good. I almost got the maple bourbon pecan pastry because I like all of those things, but I was advised that most of their pastries are tailored more to the american palate (see: suuuuper sweet) so I went with the more classic choice; I'd swing by again if I'm in the neighborhood.
