Delicious coffee with alternative milk options! Also the most impressive latte art I have seen. The staff are friendly and speak very good English! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Lisbon!

This place became a bit of a comfort for me on my trip to Lisbon. The guys were amazing; super friendly, always keen and happy. It makes such a difference when the staff have a buzz about them! The coffee was superb; I had everything from cortado to hand brew, which was so delicate and fruity. To be asked how acidic I wanted it gave me great confidence in their ability to really give the customer what they wanted, and that they did! There are a few dotted round the city; the Alfama shop is hidden away down a tiny back street and ouzes character. A must go, enjoy coffee lovers!

Carrot Cake & Coffee: A Masterclass in Simplicity The carrot cake achieves the ideal balance—moist without being soggy, structured without dryness. The distribution of nuts is enhancing texture without disrupting the cake’s natural softness. A refined approach that speaks to ingredient control and expert baking. The cappuccino (double espresso base) is, to date, the best I’ve had in Lisbon. The foam structure is impeccable—not over-aerated, creating a velvety mouthfeel that blends seamlessly with the espresso. The beans are balanced and rich offering a clear coffee profile without excessive bitterness or sour notes, a sign of proper extraction and high-quality sourcing. At €6.70 for both, the price reflects exceptional value for the standard delivered. Interior & Atmosphere: Minimal, Efficient, Almost Too Functional Service is warm and efficient, aligning with the café’s clear takeaway-first approach. The space itself is sleek, modern and prioritizing function over extended stays. This isn’t a café designed for working or scrolling your phone—it’s a precise stop for quality coffee and quick indulgence. However, two elements feel misaligned with the otherwise thoughtful design: • The ATM placed at the entrance disrupts the aesthetic, a visual outlier in an otherwise cohesive space. • A wall-mounted TV is an afterthought rather than an intentional design choice. Despite these minor inconsistencies, the café excels in prioritizing quality over excess. It knows its strengths and refuses to dilute them with unnecessary complexity. When coffee, pastry, service, and pricing align this well, it’s difficult to justify anything below a perfect score. The ATM and TV might visually detract from the experience, but they don’t impact what truly matters—the quality in the cup and on the plate. A place that respects its craft and delivers it with precision. A must-return. Thank you for the coffee
