Lovely cafe run by a wonderful Italian named Michaela, who kindly baked my favourite Italian cookies for my son to try. “Brutti Ma Buoni” (Ugly But Yummy) cookies are incredible … made of ground hazelnuts, these little cookies don’t look very glamorous but they taste AMAZING! “It’s so good here, I am addicted to this little cafe for treats.” - Elijah, 10y

With so much change in the world here is something that you can rely on - a very warm welcome from the lovely Italian owner Michaela at this lovely cafe, where you can get delicious, authentic home cooked food. Unsurprisingly, the coffee is great too! Michaela is very community spirited and kindly agreed for me to display work from the community art group I volunteer for. She also supports the local school and in general, the space she has created to me feels like it has a lot of heart. Lastly - the tiramsu is amazing! You definitely won't regret visiting.

The coffee here is outstanding. Creamy. Consistent. Fragrant, with just the right amount of sweetness. Family owned business, I always feel welcomed by the owner who has a really infectious enthusiasm for life. Out of all the other stores on Brecknock Road available for coffee ? This is the one !! Favourite place to return to.
