Located right beside the bus station, this coffee shop is a must visit every time stopping by Taipei station. Coffee and desserts are top notch and very fairly priced! The desserts are freshly made in the shop and you can see them making it. The latte feels kinda too milky for me (the milk taste was a bit heavy) so I prefer their flavored latte which was actually not too sweet, still made a good pair to their signature cinnamon roll. The cafe is not too spacious but has plenty of seats and they have a good system to control the customer flow. Mix of local and foreigner customers (some tourists bringing luggage too) so it feels a bit like an escape spot for both the eyes and the ears lol.

It’s an early morning café right by the bus station. I usually swing by for coffee whenever I’m catching a bus. They’re kind of famous for their cinnamon rolls, though I haven’t tried them yet. I’ve had the flat white, americano, and cappuccino — all decent coffee and fairly priced. Tried the apple tart once, and it was a win. Lots of apple, crunchy crust, sweet burnt meringue on top, and a hint of cinnamon. Yum. I also got a matcha canelé to go and took a bite while it was still warm. The matcha flavor came through nicely. The outside was a bit thick for my taste but still crunchy, and the inside was soft and creamy. It’s alright. There are quite a few seats, but they fill up fast. They have a clear time limit and require at least one drink per person. Oh, and bonus points — the place is pet-friendly and super welcoming to foreigners.

Twin Bros Coffee is located a stone's throw away from Taipei Main Station. We went there on the recommendation of a friend, and it was teeming with a crowd consisting of locals and foreigners when we visited. Service was friendly, and the cinnamon rolls were baked on-site. They were truly the star of this cafe, as they were redolent with the fragrance of fresh butter and cinnamon. The cappuccino was ok according to the Taiwanese palate, but if you prefer something more robust, you may want to try the Australian latte instead. Worth a visit if you are in the area!
