This cake shop deserves the highest compliment in the Korean dessert world: “Not too sweet, but still delicious.” The ingredients are incredibly fresh, so if you’re ever in the area, you should definitely give it a try! These days, cakes are so expensive—most places charge over 9,000 won—so I came in expecting the same. But unlike other shops, the cakes here are really generous in portion. The peach yogurt cream cake was amazing: there were peach slices not just on top but also inside the sponge, and the cream was fresh and light. I usually can’t eat more than a few bites of cake because it gets too sweet or heavy, but this one had a subtle tanginess from the yogurt cream that made it so refreshing—I ended up eating a lot! The staff were also incredibly kind, and the place was packed with customers. I truly hope the shop continues to thrive!
