Great coffee in an unexpected part of urban apartments. If you enjoy a good strong iced coffee with a good dose of cream with a hint of sweetness, you can’t go past a “proper” coffee. I just wished they served a larger size of the proper coffee. Comparable to Aussie prices (which would be considered slightly expensive by Korean standards). According to female friends, many women frequent the bar for the many attractive male staff.

Recently, there are many cafes and dessert restaurants near my mother's house in Ogeum-dong, Seoul, so I was googling for a popular cafe and found Proper Coffee Bar. Originally, I went to the No. 1 store in Ogeum-dong, but there were many people in the store, also there was a waiting line, so I turned around and came to the No. 2 store in Bangi-dong. There were a lot of people here too, but it was wider than the No. 1 store and there were empty seats. Coffee, French-style bread, and a variety of meals were on sale. The exterior of the building is very old because it is an old apartment complex. The cafe was on the first floor of the shopping mall, and the atmosphere was like a cafe in Seongsu-dong, which is hot these days. Both the Iced Americano and Lemon Madeleine I ordered were good. I will try other coffees and pastries next time.
