Jan25 Café Rosenberg has a cozy atmosphere with a charming English-style interior. We enjoyed a hot chocolate and a soft drink in peace, as we were the only ones there. However, the service was confusing—after waiting 10 minutes, we realized it was self-service. Later, staff informed us we needed to pay first before drinks were served. While the setting is lovely, the communication could be improved.

An atmospheric cafe in the old part in the center of Reykjavik, where we can drink not only coffee, but also eat a good cake or drink beer. Characteristic interior design with lots of wood. Comfortable couches where you can relax. At the tables you can play chess, for example. Very good location, but no parking. Staff without a smile, which leaves much to be desired.

Very cute cafe. Its the perfect place to meet with friends and catch up over a cup of coffee. On my last visit to this place it was packed as usual and it was nice to watch people play chess and listen in on conversations. Great location. I really enjoy the food here but I wish there was more attention at labeling what's in the food. My partner is vegetarian and was surprised to find meat on the mozzarella sandwich because it wasn't listed on the menu.
