Origin Coffee Roasting ☕✨ I’ve been to Origin Coffee Roasting multiple times over the past six months, and here are my impressions and recommendations if you’re planning to visit: ✅ A paradise for coffee lovers – Origin offers a wide selection of beans and brewing methods, including Cold Brew, French Press, and Americano from the espresso machine. If, like me, you prefer a strong coffee with low acidity, I highly recommend telling the staff your coffee preferences – they’ll guide you to the perfect choice. There’s also a small coffee tasting experience, which I absolutely recommend! ✅ Take the coffee experience home – I once bought beans for my French Press and had them ground on-site to the perfect grind size. Great option if you want to enjoy quality coffee at home! 🥗 Great breakfast & light meals – If you’re looking for a healthy, high-protein meal, go for the green salad with feta, tomatoes, and chicken. The dressing is very light, and the chicken comes with a delicious dip. I also highly recommend the veggie omelet – perfect for a protein-packed start to the day! 🥐 Sweet treats for indulgence – If you’re in the mood for something sweet, you’ll love the freshly baked croissants, pastries, and sweet rolls. There’s something for every craving! 👨‍🍳 Open kitchen & homemade goodness – The open kitchen allows you to watch the chefs and bakers at work, making everything fresh in-house. A great touch that adds to the experience! 💯 Friendly & efficient service – The staff is super helpful, fast, and welcoming. Always a pleasure! If you love great coffee and delicious breakfasts/light lunches, Origin Coffee Roasting is a must-visit in Cape Town! 🌍✨

Went to this cafe and it was such an amazing experience. One of the staff, Chipo (probably misspelled 🙏), was absolutely a delight. She was helpful, patient, and kind. I went there twice. The tea selection is great. The coffee is good and the one baked good I tried, the Tunisian orange cake, were delicious. I paired the cake with a hot latte, but I think it’s best with a black hot or iced coffee/cold brew. Anyway, this cafe is a must visit. Their coffees are used in other cafes, such as the one in the Time Out Market. Therefore, you know it’s good. Check them out! Chipo deserves a raise.

It's probably the best coffee experience I have ever had for a first visit. We were served by an amazing person who was so light-hearted, welcoming, and kind. The waited explained the different coffees and the way they are specifically brewed each bringing their own unique flavor. I ordered the flat white with a Rwandan roast and a white chocolate with cranberry cookie. The cold brew the person I was with was also exquisite. Would 10/10 recommend going out your way to give it a visit.
