I just left Rockydoggy about 10 minutes ago and I’m still thinking about how good that coffee was. It is one of those crazy humid days where everything feels like too much, and all I wanted was a decent cup of coffee. I stumbled upon this little café tucked away in a buzzing part of the city, and wow, what a find. The place is lowkey but the coffee is high quality. You can tell they really know what they’re doing. The guy and the girl working there were both super friendly and spoke perfect English, which made everything really easy. They accept Line Pay and cash, and of course I didn’t have enough cash on me because I always use my credit card. The guy was kind enough to let it slide this time. I felt a bit bad, but honestly it just gave me even more of a reason to come back. They helped me choose the right beans and flavor, and the coffee was exactly what I needed. Oh, and the latte art? A tiny dog on top. Absolutely adorable!!! Oh, and they have plant-based milk which is perfect for vegans and/or lactose intolerance. Rockydog is one of those places that feels genuine. No fuss, just really good coffee and kind people. I’ll definitely be back.

No trip to Taipei is complete without a visit to Rocky Doggy Coffee! The vibe is warm and welcoming and even though it is getting a little busier than it was when I first met Andy three years ago, the quality is still superb.

Easily the best cafe I've been to in Taiwan. Atmosphere is awesome, coffee is top notch, service is brilliant. Perhaps because it was the end of the day, they even came around giving everyone in the store a delicious piece of cake. Really loved the doggy latte art.
