Favorite kopi stall at Chinatown Complex: The 1950’s Coffee Usually served by the thin elderly gentleman, who impresses with his speed and skill in brewing kopi. Their kopi is consistently good — full-bodied, aromatic, and satisfying. Over the years, they’ve even attained Michelin acknowledgement for the quality of their brew. Don’t miss the chance to try their kopi when you visit Chinatown Complex. Just be prepared to join the usual queue — it’s worth the wait!

I've seen massive queues here at times.. and wasn't sure if it was worth the wait. But found an opportunity at 12:30pm ish on a Saturday when I could walk right up to the stall. I'm glad I did. The coffee was really good, BOTH hot and iced versions of kopi-c-kosong, they'll be what I'll love to have everyday if it was nearby. Now, this will be my go-to coffee in Chinatown food center.

I wanted to try the typical Singaporean breakfast but they no longer serve kaya toasts and eggs. They are a coffee stand only. They serve both coffee and tea- hot or cold. I like Singaporean coffee in general. However, they stand out for the good quality coffee and really affordable prices. Early in the morning around 7 or 8am, you can find people queuing here. The service is very quick so you need to know your order before your turn. No card payment here. Only cash from what I see. Moreover, they do take away cups for $0.10 extra.
