I have visited this café on several occasions, and have never been disappointed. The coffee is of excellent quality, and the preparation is consistently good. I can't really speak to anything other than the espresso and the ristretto, both of which are first-rate. The coffee is served in unbleached paper cups. I prefer a ceramic cup, but for a paper cup, theirs works well, and it doesn't have any offensive taste or smell to distract from the taste of the coffee. It seems The Coffee has only one roast, and it's not an extremely dark one. Normally I prefer a darker roast for an espresso or ristretto, but the medium-ish roast they use results in a well-balanced and bright cup with some really nice sweet fruity notes as well as a nice body and a long, pleasant finish. The extraction has always been spot on. So many times espresso can be under extracted, and finding consistently good coffee in Brazil can sometimes be hit-or-miss, but The Coffee's quality and consistency will keep me coming back. This location has a very comfortable seating area upstairs with tables as well as a sofa and some chairs. It's a great place to spend time working or reading while enjoying delicious coffee. The staff at this location are top-notch, and provide great customer service. In addition to the various coffee drinks, The Coffee also has a selection of pastries. Purchases are made on a self-serve tablet, which I really like. You must use a credit or debit card or Apple Pay or another type of phone-based payment app. The café also has a nice selection of insulated mugs as well as bags of their coffee and accessories, including a pour-over maker similar to a Hario v60, as well as filters and other items. I look foward to buying a bag of coffee in the near future to try at home, as well as some filters. A great café and a great concept...5 stars all the way!

It was my first experience there, and I give it a 10/10. The staff are super polite and helpful. The coffees are great, and as a true Mineiro, I have nothing but praise for the cheese bread. I definitely recommend it!
