We did the Sensory Masterclass on Sunday and it was phenomenal. Exactly the right level of detail; we learnt a huge amount about the coffee we are buying so we can know the product and our tastes much better. Thoroughly recommend for everyone at the start of your coffee journey.

I attended the Barista Masterclass yesterday and absolutely loved it! From the moment I walked into Artisan Coffee, it was such a good experience, starting with a free coffee of my choice before heading down to the class itself with 7 other classmates and led by Peter. We covered so much in the 3 hours we were together, including: An understanding of what speciality coffee actually is What to look out for when it comes to speciality coffee and what it is that can impact the taste A 'cupping experience where we learned about how experts assess the sensory attributes of different coffees and got to try this ourselves An understanding of what impacts the coffee you actually drink from bean to the barista, what a coffee 'recipe' is and we got to try it ourselves on some amazing equipment Honestly, as someone who is no expert and was simply curious to learn more, I couldn't recommend this course more. Peter was an exceptional host, incredibly knowledgeable and very patient to answer all of our many, many questions, whilst still sticking to time. I've come out with an even greater love of coffee and a heightened interest in learning more. A huge thanks to the whole team at Artisan, brilliant day!

Brilliant teacher who ran our training course. He was super engaging, knowledgeable and friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere in the class. Managed to explain the topics and information in a way that was so informative but not overwhelming. We learned so much more than we expected to and really enjoyed the experience. Coffee shop upstairs was also really nice and a lovely bonus to have a free coffee before the class and 20% off the beans! Overall would highly recommend:)
