Café Paulo is an absolute gem of a place. This review is a little late as I first went there in February, then revisited the weekend after with friends as it was so good! More friends have gone following my recommendation and all of them were equally impressed. We visited Café Paulo after seeing it recommended for their infamous breakfast. Having gone on a Saturday it was quite busy as the demand is high. However, we were seated within a few minutes and the menu was extensive. We picked a traditional full English breakfast & Mediterranean breakfast. The quality of the food was extremely high, everything was freshly cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and efficient; the price was very reasonable considering the volume & quality of food. Whilst the café is small for the level of demand, it’s cosy with a pleasant atmosphere. Whilst we were there, queues formed outside, it’s that good! Having stayed in many decent hotels, hence had a variety of breakfasts during my stays; this breakfast completely blows them out of the water. It’s the best I have ever had and will be definitely back again. Well done to the owner and all the staff at Café Paulo!
