Elias Coffeeshop in Vienna offers a solid coffee experience with a cozy atmosphere. The café has a modern yet inviting design, making it a nice spot to relax or get some work done. Their coffee is good—well-balanced and smooth, though not necessarily the most memorable in the city. I’d come again for the coffee though! The pastries and food options are decent, complementing the drinks well. Having a self service for the pastries as well though was a little off-putting for a little muffin being €3,8. Service is friendly. It may not be the absolute best café in town, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I had to wait around 15 minutes for a table, which was a bit frustrating as there’s no waiting list system—it’s more of a first-come, first-serve scramble, which can feel a bit disorganized. That said, the coffee was excellent—beautifully made and flavorful. While not a traditional Italian cappuccino, it’s definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in Vienna (though my top pick is still Kaffee und Kuchen near Schottentor). The snack selection was limited, likely due to it being a Sunday afternoon, but I tried the lemon poppy seed cake and it was lovely—moist, fresh, and not overly sweet. The baristas were friendly and welcoming, which added to the charm of the place. From a business perspective, though, the café could really benefit from expanding. It’s a beautiful space, no doubt, but the small number of tables and constant crowding make it less enjoyable, especially if you’re hoping for a relaxed coffee and cake moment on a weekend. With a larger seating area—something on the scale of a Starbucks—it could be even more of a success.

Nicely designed coffee shop attached to a luxury hotel. Unfortunately by being associated with the hotel the prices are very high with a chai latte coming in a €6 and the cup was only half filled. Additionally it’s self service so no one attend you at the table, this price there should be at-least table service.
