Such a hidden gem. The coffee is so delicious and the owner is the absolute sweetest! I went on my birthday and it happened to be his cafes birthday as well! He was super excited and gave me a little almond cookie which was really lovely!!

Beautiful espresso! Inside a very cute garden attached the church. There's a number of seats outdoors if the weather is nice, and it's a lovely oasis in the middle of Holborn. It's tricky to hit his opening hours, so if you're in the area when he's open (midday Tu-Fri) try your luck. A purist, so the espresso is excellent but don't expect sugar. The espresso was better than the flat white (despite signs saying they don't overheat milk - the milk was overheated).

I love visiting Gennaro and his beautiful little coffeeshop and garden; he's a true gent, a gentle coffee master. Always charming and authentic, his coffee consistently good, raising the best coffee notes. Conversations are always fluid, studied, and I go away in a reflective mood.
